Where is the conference Exhibit Hall?
The Exhibit Hall will be held at Hamline University’s Anderson Center, which is located at 774 Snelling Ave N, St Paul, MN 55104. The Exhibit Hall will be on the ground floor. Here is a link to Hamline University’s campus map.
How much does it cost to have a booth at the Exhibit Hall?
Nothing! It is free to have a booth at the Exhibit Hall.
How do I register for a booth at the Exhibit Hall?
Register for an Exhibit Booth here. If you have questions, contact Ka Vang, project manager, by phone at 651.290.1395 or by email at ka@narrativechange.news. She will follow up with you within one business day of your registration.
When is the deadline to register as an Exhibitor?
5 p.m. on March 6, 2019.
What comes with my booth?
A table, chairs, and internet. If you need electricity, please indicate your need on the Exhibit registration form. Meals will not be provided to exhibitors.
When will the Exhibit Hall be open?
The Exhibit Hall is open throughout the two-day conference. However, we are requesting that you staff your booth on March 19, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and March 20, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will be steering attendees to the Exhibit Hall during these times. Feel free to leave informational materials and giveaways at your booth even though it will not be continuously staff.
When is setup and teardown?
EXHIBITOR setup time:
Tuesday, March 19, 2019 8-9 a.m.
EXHIBITOR tear down time:
Wednesday, March 20, 2019, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Where should I park to unload and load my materials for my booth in the Exhibit Hall?
You can temporarily park to unload and load materials at the side entrance/ loading dock of Anderson Center. The side entrance entrance/loading dock is located on Englewood Avenue between Snelling Avenue and Pascal Street North.
Where do I check in for the Exhibitors Hall?
You can check in at Anderson Hall. There will be a greeter who can direct you to your table. Your organization’s name will be on the table. The greeter will also give you a conference badge.
As an Exhibitor, can I attend the conference on one or more days?
Being an Exhibitor does not mean you are automatically register for the conference. If you are a media professional, journalism educator or student you are invited to attend the conference. Please register at the Ticketbud Event Page here.
I am no longer able to exhibit; how do I cancel my booth?
Should your organization be unable to occupy and use the exhibit space, you should promptly email Ka Vang at kvang@americanpublicmedia.org.
Who is my on-site contact if I have questions or need something?
Ka Vang, project manager, will be your on-site contact. Once she confirms you as an exhibitor, she will give you her cell phone number for you to contact her during the conference.
Is there on-site security?
Hamline University is providing campus security for the conference including the Exhibit Hall.
Where can I park as an Exhibitor?
Parking is free for Exhibitors during the conference. You do not need a parking pass. You can park at any surface lot or parking garage on campus. You can find parking information on Hamline University’s campus map.
